In these uncertain times, Arromanches is nonetheless preparing for the 80th anniversary of the Normandy landings.
The redevelopment of the museum itself and of the esplanade just in front is in the final stages. The road will be block-paved and primarily for pedestrian use. At the back of the museum will be a space for peace and reflection with trees and benches.
The views of the Mulberry harbor, of the sea, will then be spectacular. Looking keenly forward to it.
You probably thought that the Landing Museum was closed? Well no!
During the construction of the new museum, we remain open and we are ready to show you the incredible technological challenge that was the building of the prefabricated harbor.
